Instructional guide for configuring or maintaining the Intercom ST2020 door centrals


The Intercom ST2020 system has two different types of door centrals. It is important to understand which type you are dealing with as there are slight variations in the wiring and cable requirements for each. This guide will provide you with the necessary information to correctly configure or maintain the door centrals.


  • Determine which type of door central you are dealing with. There are two different types, and they require slightly different wiring configurations and cable revisions.


  • Once you have identified which type of door central you are working with, refer to the following instructions to ensure correct wiring and cable revision:


For Type 2 door central (ST2029 - Article no. 200-005)

The wiring configuration for this type of door central requires the following configuration:


CAT 6 T568B REV 1:


  • Brown/White     = 12V
  • Brown                = PWR_GND
  • Blue                    = RS485A
  • Blue/White        = RS485B

For Type 1 door central (Article no. 200-001)


The wiring configuration for this type of door central requires the following configuration:


NOTE: The change is that RS485 A and B is reversed on this unit on the intercom side. 


CAT 6 T568B REV 1:


  • Brown/White     = 12V
  • Brown                = PWR_GND
  • Blue                    = RS485B
  • Blue/White        = RS485A
